Risqué Ribbons is the pre-performer class at Darwin Divine Dancers for those on the cusp of creating a solo act and hitting stages!

For students to be considered for this level, they must have enrolled in at least three terms of Intermediate Burlesque OR have previous dance experience in modern styles. Students must talk to their Darwin Divine teacher before enrolling in this class for the first time.

In Risqué Ribbons, you will learn the technical side of burlesque with dance techniques, refined choreography and positioning, striptease, musicality and characterisation. We dive into skills that include boas, gloves and other costume props and you will be introduced to different burlesque performance and music styles.
